In Ground Camera Destroys Parasite "Alkat", which Attacks Vegetables

Eitan Avivi, vegetables and herbs grower from Kibbutz Ein-Harod Meuhad, developed in cooperation with “Newe Yaar” Agriculture Research management unique interface which using cameras set in ground in order to follow the parasite behavior and indicate when to spray the crops.

 

This develops assists in preventing the parasite reproduction and destroying the crops.

 

The Israeli Agriculture Ministry invested in this initiative in the past three years and nowadays the project is expanding abroad.

 

Another develop are the tomatoes for medical use. The unique tomatoes are rich with lycopene and are used as natural antioxidants in medicines for cancer treatment.
