2019 Irrigation Show and Education Week
|Irrigation & groundwater industries set to gather under one roof|
|August 11, 2019|
The Irrigation Association invites you to join the irrigation industry in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dec. 2-6, for the 2019 Irrigation Show and Education Week. This year’s event will offer all of the great education and experiences attendees have come to know and look forward to, as well as some new and exciting opportunities to explore, connect and learn all the best the industry has to offer.
This year’s show offers expanded opportunities as the IA is co-locating with the National Ground Water Association. Bringing partner organizations together means that you will be among nearly 10,000 industry peers and browse an exhibit hall with 600 total exhibitors.
Explore new technology
The Irrigation Show brings you all of the latest products and technologies in the industry under one roof. The trade show floor provides the unique opportunity to see these products firsthand and get your questions answered in person by knowledgeable representatives.
The new product contest showcases the best new products and technologies to hit the market in the last year. This year, contest judging will take place on the show floor, further inviting attendees to come and hear about these new products.
The IA has re-engineered its education week to offer even more ways to not only learn irrigation skills but also stay up to date on the latest issues affecting the industry. Education week now features both Industry Insights and IA University.
The new Industry Insights will feature presentations and panel discussions on everything from research studies to practical irrigation skills to business management. These presentations are designed to keep you on the cutting edge of irrigation trends that will ultimately help you grow your business
IA University consists of core curriculum for core skill sets. These classes are offered every year to ensure you have the foundational and practical skills necessary to design, install or maintain an irrigation system, as well as the business skills to manage a small irrigation company. These classes require an additional fee and preregistration is encouraged to ensure a seat.
2019 is a great chance to take advantage of being in Las Vegas and the exciting famous landmark attractions this location has to offer. The IA is offering show attendees two different tour options. One tour provides a behind-the-scenes look at the world-famous fountains at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, while the second tour shows the inner workings of the Hoover Dam, a 60-story tall concrete arch-gravity dam that attracts 7 million visitors each year.
