Visitors from 64 Countries Flock to Growtech Eurasia 2014

Growtech Eurasia attracting visitors from all over the world

Every year Growtech Eurasia hosts increasing number of sector professionals from Europe and the Middle East. In 2013 the number of international visitors has tripled, while many International business opportunities were created.  Main visiting countries included Jordan, Egypt, Iran, Azarbaijan, Lebanon, Spain, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Romania, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and Greece. Growtech Eurasia will continue to be the leader organization of the region with new sections and more business opportunities in 2014.

Growtech Eurasia influences projects in international platform by bringing together the Turkish agricultural sector with professionals from the agricultural domain worldwide. This fair sets a steady growth each year and will bring together more than 650 national and international brands in 7 saloons spreading over a total area of 40 thousand sqm.

It features a wide array of fields, such as plant nutrition and protection, reenhouse and relevant equipment, , seedling, seed growing, irrigation systems, agricultural technology and equipment. Growtech Eurasia grows steadily every year with the support of government organizations, association, and the Ministry of Agriculture. This constant growth also offers more business opportunities.

Turkey – the 7th Bıggest Producer ın the World

The agricultural sector growth rate was 3.5%, while the growth rate of Turkish economy was 2.2% in 2012. With the increased growth rate of the agricultural sector, Turkey ranked 3rd in  world production of “green pepper, tomato, cucumber & green bean” and 1st in “fig, cherry, apricot & quince”. Taking 1st  place in Europe for Greenhouse area size and ranking 3rd in the world, the Turkish agricultural sector meets with the world in Growtech Eurasia fair every year.

Antalya, one of the most important cities of the Mediterranean region, offers a mixture of unique historic texture and geography. While Antalya stands out with its transportation infrastructure and tourist attractions, agriculture is one of the most important industries contributing to its brand value.

Investors in the agriculture industry, both local and international, view the Mediterranean region and Antalya, in particular, as the  favorite region for investment. Particularly known for greenhouse cultivation, Antalya hosts about 65% of the greenhouses across Turkey. Antalya also ranks first in Turkey with its agricultural production reaching 2 billion Euro.
