NaanDanJain, has successfully completed two of three mega-projects planned in China, and is now in the process of implementing its irrigation systems for the last project. The three projects, valued at $22 million, are part of the Sino-Israeli Agreement Protocol between the Israeli and Chinese governments, which encourages Israeli manufacturers to export to China by giving the Chinese government financed credit to acquire Israeli products in different fields, including agriculture.

The projects have been carried out in three different provinces in China. They include providing comprehensive irrigation systems solutions for 5,100 ha of agricultural land, as well as supplying and installing equipment in more than 100 different sites. The three projects also included the complex logistics of handling hundreds of products on their way to various regions throughout China.

The projects focus on passing on the knowledge accumulated by the company over years of developing drip irrigation technologies, improving the agricultural processing capacity of small farms in China, and increasing awareness of water-saving.

Amir Bar, vice president of the company, said, "This is a huge scale project. NaanDanJain supervises the installation at all sites to ensure correct implementation of the systems and also conducts training seminars for the Chinese government's water engineers in the correct operation and maintenance of the systems .
This knowledge is then passed on to more than 5,000 small farm owners in the arid regions of northern China, enabling them to improve agricultural productivity and save on water consumption."

NaanDanJain, now celebrating 80 years of activity, is a leading international company in the manufacture and distribution of technological solutions that reduce resource intake per crop. The company also serves as the international marketing and operations branch of the Jain concern, and operates in more than150 countries worldwide.
