New Technologic device for nurturing vineyards in France

Vineyards owners in France started using RPV (remote piloted vehicle)

Vineyards owners in France started using RPV (remote piloted vehicle) for filming the delicate grapevines and estimate their growth and quality.

The RPV is connected to camera and operates with remote control from the i-pad device. The photos are transferred to a computer and can be analyzed in order to find which grapevine needs extra treatment and estimate the amount of watering needed.

The new method of photography succeeds brilliantly in photographing the grapevines, also in cloudy days and replacing the use of helicopters which pollutes the environment. The main disadvantage is recharging the RPV battery after 30 minutes flight.
